Michael A. Cei has been involved in the accident investigation and reconstruction field for his entire adult working career. Mr. Cei graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. He then began his professional career as a police officer assigned to the traffic accident investigation unit where he has received extensive training in the field of accident reconstruction from North Florida's Institute of Police Technology and Management.
Mr. Cei then joined Spectrum Engineering Group, LLC as an accident reconstructionist. During his career at Spectrum, Mr. Cei received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Haven. Throughout his 20+ years in the field of accident reconstruction, Mr. Cei has investigated thousands of motor vehicle accidents and has provided expert testimony in a variety of depositions, arbitrations and court proceedings.
In 2007, Mr. Cei partnered with Nigel Smith, also from Spectrum Engineering Group, to form Cei Smith & Associates, LLC.
Mr. Cei is fully certified as an Accident Reconstructionist by the Accredidation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR).
